My first primary school that I was assigned to in January 2016 was called CEIP Infanta Leonor in Mazarrón, Murcia. It was a relatively new bilingual school with a strong determination to improve its English levels especially due to the high number of English natives that live and visit the surrounding areas of Murcia and Alicante.
My second bilingual primary school, CEIP Manuela Romero, was located in the Puerto de Mazarrón, Murcia and much like my previous school, had a strong will to introduce and improve its English levels.

My current school is called IES Emilio Castelar and is a secondary school located in the Madrid suburb of Carabanchel and is non-bilingual. The school only offers English classes and the general English levels of the students are quite low. The suburb of Carabanchel and the school itself is mostly made up of immigrants from areas such as South and Central America, China, Romania and Morocco. There are around 400 students in the school and many have had little to no previous experience with English learning but are very eager to learn.
The English staff have been incredibly helpful, patient and innovative in their approach to teaching English to the students.
